Registration Deadlines
- April 7 - Early-bird registrations will receive a discount of $10 per student when completed online or postmarked by April 7.
- May 12 - On-time registrations must be completed online or postmarked by May 12.
- Late registrations after May 12 through May 26 will incur a late fee of $15 per camper in addition the regular cost.
- May 26 - After May 26, registrations cannot be accepted.
Camp Fees
There is a $20 non-refundable registration fee per camper. This will be applied to the camp tuition. The balance due can be paid early if desired, but must be paid in full at check-in.
Tuition for Early-Bird registration (before April 7):

- Beginner Orchestra – $95
- Intermediate Orchestra – $115

Tuition for On-Time registration (April 8 - May 12):

Skills Questionnaire
- The Skills Questionnaire must be submitted with the registration for Beginner, Intermediate, or Advanced Orchestras.
- Harp campers need to fill out the Harp Questionnaire.
- The camper’s teacher or another qualified individual should fill out the questionnaire.
- This information helps to determine the assignment of parts. We want each camper to be assigned to the most appropriate part.
Music
- Music will be sent to Orchestra members and Twinkle campers in early June to allow ample time to practice before camp.
- Music for Pre-Twinkle and Harp Ensemble campers will be provided during camp.
- It is important to practice the music before coming to camp.
- The Beginner and Intermediate Orchestras must memorize the all-camp piece before arriving at camp.
Lunch Tickets
- The cost is $4 per ticket.
- Tickets requested after May 26 will cost $6 per ticket.
- Campers and their families are welcome to bring sack lunches to the cafeteria to eat.
Lodging
- Some lodging is available in the homes of church members.
- If you need lodging, be sure to make your request when registering.
Dress Code
- Each camper is expected to wear modest clothing.
- Girls should wear dresses/skirts that comfortably cover the knee at all times.
- Guys should wear collared shirts and Docker®-type pants.
- There are specific concert dress requirements.

Sunday Afternoon Check-In
Every camper will complete his check-in on Sunday afternoon,
July 24, 2:30 - 5:00 p.m.:
- Finalize registration and pay balance of camp tuition.
- Pick up your daily schedule, name tag, and lunch tickets (if requested).
- Take a brief music theory placement test.
- Audition at your scheduled time.
- Attend the Sunday evening service at 6:00 p.m., if possible.
Theory Placement Test
- Each camper will take a placement test in music theory on Sunday afternoon.
- From the results, campers will be assigned to a theory class for his or her level. These levels are not necessarily equivalent to the Orchestra levels.
- Results will be posted on Monday morning. Campers should be sure to go to the correct class.
Auditions
- Each camper for the Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced Orchestras will play an audition for seating within the orchestra.
- An assigned audition schedule time will be sent to each camper.
- The audition music will be an excerpt selected from the orchestra music, which is sent to each camper in June.
- New for 2011: Advanced Orchestra campers will play excerpts selected from: 1) the orchestra music and 2) a piece of their choosing (lesson material, recent church special, etc.). All Advanced campers should bring a current piece with which they are comfortable to their audition and be prepared to play a short selection from it.
