Train the next generation(s) of musicians to minister in their local assemblies
The LORD has established the church as the pillar and ground of the truth. No other institution on Earth can lay hold to that claim. It is recorded in I Chronicles 25:1 “Moreover, David and the commanders of the army set apart for the service some . . . who were to prophesy with lyres, harps and cymbals;” While we utilize violins, violas, cellos, and basses, our goal is still the same. By training musicians to serve the Lord through music, current and future musicians can prophesy God’s Word through song that upholds the truth and edifies the body of Christ.
“Sforzando” is a musical term giving direction, and means to play with sudden emphasis. Therefore, we set aside one week a year and focus on training the musician both technically and spiritually.
